ShowLED was well represented at Palme 2008. We shared a stand together with our local distributor ShowTex Middle East, who also was gold sponsor of the event.
At the stand we had a couple of ShowLED classic and Chameleon curtains.
Directly behind the stand was the entrance to a venue were the Middle East Event Awards held place.
ShowLED operated 10 x 5m x 7m Animation curtains at this awards ceremony.
Our Chameleon controller has a brand new design. The new Chameleon controller has some new features and a totally refreshed look. It's much smaller and lighter so even easier to handle than before!
Due to the recent succes of our 6m x 4m Chameleon curtains and to celebrate the new Chameleon controller design we've decided to make the 6m x 4m Chameleon curtain a new standard size and we've reduced it's price.
ShowLED was at the Pro Light & Sound event 2008 together with our German distributor Gerriets.
Featured at the event were 2 ShowLED Animation backdrops; 1 x 5m x 7m Animation panel with 30 LEDs/m² and 1 x 5m x 7m Animation panel with 60 LEDs/m². Next to the Animation curtains was also 1 x 5m x 7m Chameleon curtain.
At the Gerriets stand we also hung a 5m x 7m Classic curtain.
ShowLED demo featuring 2 ShowLED Animation curtains 2m x 2m; 1 with 100 LEDs/m² placed in a grid, one with 64 LEDs/m² randomly placed.
This demo shows that a curtain with LEDs that are randomly placed can produce visuals that are as nice as a curtain with almost the double of LEDs placed in a matrix.
Seems like the human brain fills up the gaps in a random positioned low res LED panel better than in a matrix low res LED panel. Video's with organic shapes also look better on a backdrop with randomly placed LED's.
