    ShowLED Animation Waterproof LEDs

    ShowLED Waterproof is the latest addition to the ANIMATION product range. Fully compatible with the existing ShowLED ANIMATION controllers and software, the ease of use and flexibility is not only maintained, but upgraded to another level.  Outdoors. 

    The request for outdoor LED applications with video control options, fixed but certainly temporary installs, led to another ShowLED in-house development of LED strings, cabling and connectors. It wouldn’t have been a ShowLED product if it was not a custom designed and developed chain of components to fulfill the requirement of a water, wind, dust and UV proof solution.

    The IP X7-rated version of the ANIMATION LED strings, in combination with a rugged high tech netting, is ready to resist both severe weather conditions (rain and snow) and burning sun. In combination with other outdoor fabrics, like PVC mesh or banner drape, creative minds can explore new boundaries.

    Extensive changes had to be made to the existing indoor ANIMATION LED strings.  Water and UV proof cabling, moulded connectors and switching to an SMD RGB LED were required.  To keep the wide viewing angle and the excellent RGB colour mixing of the indoor version, a new lens was developed and applied to the moulded LED sockets. All of that conform the EN 60529:1991 + A1:2000 standards and with a fully certificied IP X7 rating!
