ShowLED Components

ShowLED originated as a set of components to attach to a variety of materials including wood, metal, glass, cardboard, stonework, PVC and all smooth-surfaced fabrics. Its versatility makes it possible to install stars in costumes, floors, walls or ceilings and then later remove them for reuse in other projects.
The LED-system is primarily used to create ShowLED Starcloths for events such as theatre performances, TV-shows, concerts and trade events.

You can order all components seperately or we can provide you with ready-made, plug & play Starcloths.

Fabric & lining

We make our curtains in standard dimensions. These standard curtains are 4m x 9m, 5m x 7m, 3m x 12m and 6m x 4m (only for the Chameleon system). These backdrops are discounted 15% from other ready made sizes. Other dimensions and shapes can be made on request.

The fabric we use as front fabric is special developed CS Molton fabric.
This fabric has a backside that is not roughened for firm attachment of the Velcro washers.
The CS Molton is inherently flame retardant (M1, B1) and has a low shrinkage level.
We finish our standard curtains with back to back hook and loop fasteners all the way around.
This way multiple curtains can easily be joined together to create a bigger backdrop.

It’s also possible to use the curtains in both directions. A 5 meter by seven meter curtain for example can be used in any direction; 5 meter high or 7 meter high.
The Velcro is perforated every 10 cm. for easy attachment to trusses, rails or pipes and each side has some eyelets for extra reinforcement.

The lining we use to protect the LEDs is CS Taft lining. This fabric is very strong yet lightweight.

LED components

For the Classic and Chameleon system it’s possible to source the components directly from us. This way the client has the possibility to use our LEDs to make their own curtains or to use them for other applications.
The customer can insert them in plaster ceilings, wooden sets or plywood boards.
We can also supply the tools necessary to punch holes in curtains, roll on the Velcro’s and manuals on how curtains should be made.

The possibilities are limitless, let your imagination work and the result will be phenomenal.
